LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis was in Florida on Wednesday to visit with five-star offensive tackle Julian Armella.

Armella, a 6-6, 295-pound prospect from Fort Lauderdale, FL (St. Thomas Aquinas) is rated the No. 1 offensive tackle in the country and No. 1 prospect from the state of Florida for the class of 2022, according to Rivals.

The talented lineman recently put LSU in his top four schools along with Alabama, Florida, and Florida State.

Julian's father, Enzo Armella played offensive line at Florida State under Bobby Bowden. The Armella family took a trip to Baton Rouge to visit LSU back in October.

Both of my kids went to St Thomas. School is a football factory. The athletes that play for them are amazing. We’ve been able to pull a few of them lately. Hopefully we can get this kid

IDC who the head is, we need to keep Davis. Not only for recruiting but the line has made tremendous progress since the beginning of the season, and let’s not forget, Davis got a late start.
