LSU coaches hit the road again on Wednesday night visiting with quarterbacks Justin Rogers in Bossier City, La. and James Foster in Montgomery, Ala.

Alabama area recruiting Tommie Robinson visited Foster, who recently included the Tigers in his top schools' list.

The 6-3, 210-pound prospect from Lanier HS is rated the No. 5 dual-threat quarterback in the country and the No. 3 overall prospect from the state of Alabama for the class of 2018, according to ESPN.

He was a one-time Missouri commit but reopened up his recruitment in October, just a few days after receiving an offer from LSU.

Tight end coach Steve Ensminger and wide receiver coach Mickey Joseph visited with Rodgers, who is currently committed to TCU.

The 6-4, 200-pound prospect from Parkway High School is rated the No. 4 dual-threat quarterback in the country and the No. 3 overall player from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2018, according to ESPN.

Landing one of these prospects would be huge for LSU as the Tigers currently don't have a quarterback committed to the class of 2018

Ensminger and Joseph also visited with Rodgers' high school teammate Terrace Marshall, a five-star prospect and the No. 1 wide receiver in the country. Marshall is a major target for LSU with the Tigers currently in the lead for his commitment.

If you needed further confirmation that Canada won't be here next season, look no further than those pictures.

So coach O wants a pro style offense, but we are trying to recruit two of the top 5 dual threat qb's in the country?

Coach Rob doing work in Alabama. I hope he steals some big time recruits from Saban, And Ensminger and Joseph look to be locking down North Louisiana, which is huge for the future of our program. The foundation is being laid. I do agree that Canada should be involved with these prospects as well, and I’m sure at some point he will be. Coach O looks like he is following through on trying to build a wall around Louisiana. If he does, the Tigers will be back on top very soon!

Foster looks taller than Rogers. Somebody put a D in Rogers' name. I wish he was Aaron too.

Probably since Ensminger is likely a good bit taller than Robinson.

So who is better out of these two?

Based on our luck with previous QB's? Whichever one we don't get.

Foster is a raw athlete. Rodgers is more polished and accurate. Rodgers is the better prospect but he just tore his knee up. He’ll need a RS year to rehab.

Foster is natural passer. Really nice mechanics. No hitch or anything.

I have stood besides Ensminger many times when he coached at West Monroe and I am 6'3". Ensminger is is the same height as me, so use that as measuring stick.

So Matt Canada doesn't recruit? Or is he an area recruiter and not position?

Just seems like Canada isn't too involved for a guy that will be running the offensive ship next year.
