Head coach Ed Orgeron and offensive line coach James Cregg were in Florida on Wednesday and visited with LSU offensive line commit Marlon Martinez.

Martinez, a 6-5, 290-pound prospect from Fort Lauderdale, has been committed to the Tigers since May. The three-star lineman is rated the No. 20 offensive guard in the country for the class of 2020, according to 247Sports.

Got room to grow. Rankings aren't everything. Just think the next Heisman winner was an unrecruited 3*.

O really likes this kid, isn't he on the record saying that he did not care about his recruiting ranking at all? I feel like everyone he has visited since the SEC 'ship is a top priority for him personally, regardless of what the rankings or the assistant coaches say.
