Gibson has been committed to Ohio State since November 3 but took an official visit to LSU two weeks ago. Here are some pictures from his visit.

Some believe that LSU has a good chance at landing Gibson in Baton Rouge with the uncertainty of early playing time in Columbus with all three Ohio State quarterback returning next season.

Auburn is also in the hunt for the four-star prospect from Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The top 10 teams all have one thing in common: Dual Threat QBs. DTQBs are also dominating the draft. Harris was the #1 DTQB in the nation prior to committing early to LSU and would have been Gatorade Player of the year if not for LF7. Harris' HS stats, arm, passing, running are better and I doubt Gibson, or anyone, is sold on QB development at LSU. Really, are you. TG could help us move from the under center I formation past and into the modern shotgun "pro-style" present.

Jeeeeze, this kid is not the answer. I didn't see anything spectacular or even mediocre in his throws. He'll run first a la JJ.

Don't want. Shea Patterson should be the focus, no more dual threats that turn in to no threats.

We don't need an athletic QB, we need a QB to get the ball to our other athletes

Barrett is a rising sophomore, Jones a rising Junior.

If Barrett stays thru his senior year, then Gibson might not be the starter till 2018.

At LSU the chance at least exists that he could see the field this year, and have a shot at the job in 2016.
