LSU head coach Ed Orgeron, running back coach Jabbar Juluke, and wide receivers coach/recruiting coordinator Dameyune Craig paid a visit to quarterback commit Lowell Narcisse on Tuesday night.

Narcisse, a one-time Auburn commit, gave his verbal pledge to the LSU coaching staff back on May 2nd. He is one of two quarterbacks committed for the 2017 class, along with four-star pro-style prospect Myles Brennan.

The 6-3, 224-pound dual threat prospect from Saint James, LA (Saint James HS) is rated as the No. 5 dual-threat QB for 2017 and the No. 4 overall player from the state of Louisiana, according to ESPN Recruiting. Narcisse missed his senior season with an ACL tear.

I guess settling for the 3rd choice is becoming a trend. This kid can't pass at the college level. Do not want.

Hate the sound of "dual threat".....means they run first and can't hit the broad side of a barn. We have plenty of threats all over the field year after year, but the problem is that our QBs haven't been able to get the ball to them until Etling this year.

This kid is made of glass, and we're throwing the sink at him. Hey jackasses, how about you return Brennan's phone calls and give him a fricking explanation?

You are a frickin idiot. I guess Tyran Matthieu and Tom Brady are made of glass? They've had ACL tears too

Shiftyplus189 months
Did they have two tears (one in each leg) before playing a single snap of football at the collegiate level? If that doesn't worry you, then you are simple.

Yep! Just what I was getting at. Between this and the offer for the 5 star guy it was basically Coach O telling Brennan to kick rocks... Well fricking done O

Juluke & Craig look younger than Narcisse

Just gives you an idea of how big Narcisse really is. He is bigger every time I see him

No doubt. I wasn't sure who the player was and who the coach were until I zoomed in. He's a big guy!

Lane Kiffin is going to Oregon, but who cares!! We are recruiting everybody, you can't put all your eggs in 1 basket. If Brennan is booty hurt because we offer a 5 star, and visit Lowell then he isn't going to cut it anyways. I'd like to think he is welcoming of the competition, last thing we want is another Kyle Allen/Kyler Murray situation. Recruit them all Coach O, make them earn the damn job. You think he is only going after 1 OC, c'mon get real! Kids change their minds everyday, you gotta go after all of them and make them all want to come to LSU, then we can watch them compete.

Brennan is more than capable of running a spread offense.... He just needs to gain weight, but he can move.... Not sure why he considered a Mettenberger type. More Chad Kelly IMO

how many titles did chad Kelly win? compete baby the coach o way. coach o say he going after every one in the room. best man win next man up. lets geaux baby

I wondered the same thing about Brennan. He's not gone yet. If he can run the spread, he'll get a chance. So will Etling, for that matter. Some players are able to adapt and even thrive with a new system.(Except Jordan Jefferson) Sorry, I couldn't resist!

I think LSU is no longer interested in Brennan, they must have made a decision to go in anther direction. Cant blame them: QB evolution is Dak Prescott, Cam Newton, Jalen Hurt types. Another dinosaur died.

Geaux away racist.

Yeah because those grow on trees. History has shown also that drop back passers are still better than scramblers. Give me Brady or Brees any day over Cam Newton.

Is this in any way a strong indication that Lane Kiffin is coming to LSU as OC? LSU is going after a Bama commitment dual threat QB from Hawaii and now trying to secure Lowell Narcisse?

Team O doing work is all, good to see.

God I hope we aren't making Brennan less of a priority but it sure looks that way.

They are both committed knowing there is another QB committed. Competition breeds excellence. Why do you think the TSA sucks so bad?
