Talented four-star wide receiver AJ Johnson from Newman High School in New Orleans announced Friday that he has committed to LSU.

The 6-4, 200-pound receiver chose the Tigers over offers from Georgia, Alabama, and several other schools. He is rated No. 19 wide receiver in the country and the No. 10 overall player from Louisiana for 2023, according to Rivals.

Johnson's current quarterback at Newman is LSU target Arch Manning.

Another LOADED receiver class on the way for our Tigers. Must be very attractive to a 2023 QB with the last name Manning.
