Talented four-star quarterback Garrett Nussmeier has announced that he has committed to LSU.

The Flower Mound, Texas native (Marcus HS) chose the Tigers over offers from Texas, Baylor, Georgia, Texas A&M, and many other schools. Here's his announcement video:

Nussmeier is rated the No. 6 pro-style passer in the country and the No. 14 overall player from the state of Texas, according to Rivals. His father is current Dallas Cowboys quarterback coach Doug Nussmeier.

Nussmeier is LSU's first quarterback commit for the class of 2021 and 9th overall.

He mentioned AJ McCarron?? Had he played on a lesser team than Alabama, I doubt we would have seen his name mentioned much.

Just posted this on the C Williams article less than hour ago- Keep the pedal pushed hard on the Texas QB to. I really hope Coach O doesn’t stop recruiting Garrett Nussmeier because I think he’ll be rock solid in keeping his commitment. Williams will always be soft till the final day.
