Etienne, a 5-11, 210-pound prospect from Jennings High School, is rated the No. 13 running back in the country and the No. 5 overall player from the state of Louisiana, according to ESPN.

He was set to take an official visit to LSU this weekend but those plans might have changed now with his commitment to Clemson.

I'd love to meet them in the playoffs and Devin White square his arse up

I hear that! And don't forget: Devin White was also one of the best running backs in the state 2 years ago. Could always convert in a pinch. Although, he is poised to be the next Beckwith starting right now! It's on like neckbone!

Kid just made some unnecessary enemies. I completely understood him going to Clemson, and I would have supported him.......now, he can kick rocks.

I like his line of thinking, but the kid did not have to slap his home state in the face on the way out the door.

If you want to attend Clemson, cool beans. I get it. They beat Bama and they're the current NC (Even though they don't have a snowball's chance in he'll of repeating because most of thier playmakers are entering the draft) But to take a shot at LSU on your way out!? Dick move kid. I hope LSU has cancelled his visit. Personnally, I don't want this kid on campus. It not like he was a once in a lifetime talent to begin with.

With "character" like that, I'm glad he chose Climpson. Nothing like burning bridges for no good reason.

The Real Death Valley? Oh ok...
user avatar
Lexman187 months
This guy was a fence walker from day 1. Some kids just want to leave their home state and go somewhere else. That's fine. But to say Clemson is the real Death Valley is ridiculous! I know they are Champions now and that's great for them. But when football analysts and former players and coaches talk about the toughest venue to play a road game, especially at night, they ain't talking about South Carolina! Baton Rouge is Death Valley!
