Talented four-star athlete Jacoby Mathews from Ponchatoula, LA announced his top seven schools on Tuesday night which are LSU, Alabama, Georiga, Mississippi State, Texas, Oklahoma, and Michigan State.

Mathews, a 6-2, 196-pound prospect from Ponchatoula HS, is rated the No. 1 athlete in the country for 2022 and the No. 1 player from Louisiana in the class.

LSU currently has seven verbal commitments for the class of 2022.

Nah. These kids are going to have to start factoring in Saban’s age. Saban is 70 and I seriously doubt if he coaches more than a couple of more years.

Everyone assumes local kids recruited by bama are gone. Sure it's an easier path to a title, but what happened to building a team vs just joining one.
