During his weekly radio show on Wednesday, head coach Ed Orgeron talked briefly about recruiting and which position he's looking for to round out the 2020 class.

Those positions inculde pass rushers, "elite" running backs, and offensive linemen.

LSU currently has 24 verbal commits for 2020 and that number go could up or down as we get closer to the early signing period and National Signing Day in February.

Orgeron said earlier this week that the max number of players LSU can sign this year is 25.

I want to see some solid Offensive Linemen commit. LSU has to improve on the O-Line.

As good as this class is it would be a disappointment if only one OL is signed.

Yeah, if I were a 3-star commit, I'd be looking at other options. Sad for them if they are in love with LSU.

WTF? Clear 5 spaces. Don’t care who it is and sign 5 OL. 1 tackle???

The OT committed is projected as an OG. One of the DL is expected to move over to OL. And we are still targeting 2 top flight OT’s. That would give us 4. I would prefer 5 in a class also, but with the high profile guys we have and a young line currently, we can afford 4 (or possibly 3).

You play 5 offensive lineman at a time, if you only get one every year, you wont have enough to field a team. Need minimum 3 per class

Process 3 and take Evans, Webb, Dumervil, Guillory! If Burch wants in make room for him too.

And Guillory as well? Do you not sign guys who have already committed?

If we are at 24 committs and we can only sign 25. Then how do you sign a RB, Pass rusher and tackle when you don't have the space left?

Welcome to the rough part of recruiting, its not pretty but some of this kids will unfortunately be asked to look elsewhere.

It boggles my mind how some people claim to follow recruiting but just can not grasp the logistics of it all.
