Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU senior guard Xavier Pinson surpassed 1,000 career points Tuesday in an 89-49 victory over the Northwestern St. Demons inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

The Tigers were led by Tari Eason on the offensive side of the ball, finishing with double-digit points for the third straight contest. He tallied 18 points and five rebounds. Freshman Efton Reid collected the first double-double of his LSU career, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Pinson closed out the night with 15 points, four assists and three rebounds.
