Phil Jackson Compares Steph Curry To LSU Great Chris Jackson

Former NBA player and coach Phil Jackson, who is currently the New York Knicks president sent out at tweet on Sunday suggesting that Stephen Curry reminds him of former LSU great Chris Jackson who changed his named Mahmoud Abdul-Rouf.

Jackson averaged 29.0 PPG, 3.0 RPG, and 3.6 APG at LSU. He left after his sophomore season and was drafted No. 3 overall by the Denver Nuggets in the 1990 NBA Draft. He played nine season in the NBA with the Nuggets, Sacramento Kings, and the Vancouver Grizzlies.

He didn't mean it as compliment to CJ, but more as a slight to Curry. The implication was also there that CJ was hot once too and he faded, let's see what Curry does. But Phil misses on the mark as CJ was never close to the level Curry in the NBA. He was smooth, but didn't score like Curry.

before all this came out I said the same thing. And I didn't mean to compare their scoring numbers...but watching Curry fake, split between his legs and rake down a 3 looks exactly like CJ's style was. There's no hesitation, make the move and shoot it. I actually came up with this one day watching the game and I was like "is that Chris Jackson?" damn he looks exactly the same out there. Had to do a double take...
