Per LSUSports.net: ORLANDO, Florida – Mfiondu Kabengele three-pointer from the baseline hit the side of the rim, bounced straight up, hit again and fell through with 0.5 seconds left in overtime to give No. 14 Florida State a win over No. 19 LSU, 79-76, Friday afternoon in the semifinals of the AdvoCare Invitational at the HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The three-pointer put the caps on a rally that saw the Seminoles overcome a valiant performance by LSU as the Tigers had built a nine-point advantage with 3:05 to play in regulation. But FSU (5-0) outscored LSU (5-1), 12-3, the rest of regulation and tied the game at 68-68 with two seconds left on a layup by Forrest Trent.

Turnovers crushed us. Up 6 or 7 with about 2 minutes to go and couldn’t make a play. Thank God it’s basketball or this board would be full retard. Geaux Tigers!!

Florida State played like they wanted this game, more than LSU did.

Ball protection in the back court needs some work. Sloppy passes back there allowed nearly a dozen points that shouldn't have happened.

Absolutely. 22-4 advantage for fsu on offensive boards. Hard to win with that discrepancy

without a doubt the most OBVIOUS problem. no way to win against good teams this way. officiating affected the game flow, but not necessarily the game. we were horrible on the boards....no excuse

LSU vs Bama was embarrassing.... This was a close game despite our turnovers and lack of rebounding under goal
