Per LSUSports.net: OXFORD, MISS. – LSU defeated Ole Miss, 75-61, Saturday night inside The Pavilion in Oxford, Mississippi.

Trendon Watford led the Tigers in scoring with 21 points. Javonte Smart added 17 points as well as a team-high six assists. Eric Gaines set a new career-high with ten points and added on four steals.

Ole Miss was led by Austin Crowley with ten points. The Rebels also had two players, Luis Rodriguez and Jarkel Joiner, with nine points.

Tigers actually dominated more so than what the score reflects. Without Cameron Thomas for a majority of the game too. Impressive. Hope the team can build on this win!
