LSU coach Matt McMahon landed his first commitment as the Tigers head coach on Monday by signing Northwestern State transfer forward Kendal Coleman.

Coleman, a sophomore from Shreveport, La., averaged 15.4 points and 10.1 rebounds this past season.

He scored 16 points with 13 rebounds in 33 minutes when the Demons lost to LSU, 89-49 on December 14.
