Five-star point guard De'Aaron Fox from Katy,TX (Cypress Lakes) trimmed down his top schools on Friday and LSU was included in the group.

Fox is originally from New Orleans but moved to Texas after Huricane Katrina.

Here is what Fox had to say about LSU, according to Scout.com:

LSU: ”I’m originally from Louisiana, so it’s a hometown thing. With their recruiting class they had with Brandon [Sampson], Ben [Simmons] and [Antonio Blakeney, people really shouldn’t be surprised by them this year. I wouldn’t say it’s a shocker to it should be expected. This year they should finish the top two or three in the SEC.”
Fox is the No. 3 point guard in the country and the No. 3 overall player from the state of Texas, according to ESPN and 247Sports.
