LSU head coach Paul Manieri announced Wednesday that senior left-handed pitcher Zac Person (2-0, 3.34 ERA) will start on the mound for the Tigers rematch against TCU on Thursday.
Person will only pitch a few innings as Mainieri is taking the "Jack Wholestaff" approach in this must-win elimination game.
Sophomore Mitchell Traver (9-2, 1.60 ERA) will start for the Horned Frogs.
