LSU senior pitcher Jared Poche' was named Co-SEC pitcher of the week along with Auburn's Keegan Thompson. Per SECSports.com:

LSU senior left-hander Jared Poche' delivered his third straight brilliant outing on Saturday, firing seven shutout innings in LSU's 4-0 win over No. 17 Baylor at the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic at Minute Maid Park in Houston.

Poche' blanked the Bears in seven innings of work, allowing just five hits with no walks and five strikeouts. He was named to the Shriners College Classic all-tournament team.

Poche' has now pitched 22 innings this season without allowing a run. On the year, he is 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA.

I think Poche only gave up 4 hits against Baylor, not 5. But who's counting?

Yeah, I remember that kid Thompson from last year. He's damn good too. Will be a nice matchup when he and Lange face off.

Looks like Auburn has one of those pitchers who gives up 0 runs ever as well. Must be nice.
