Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE – The No. 6 LSU baseball team fell to the UNO Privateers, 7-4, in 15 innings Wednesday night at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

The game marked the first time in the new Alex Box Stadium, which opened in 2009, that a game had reached 15 innings.

How will this loss keep us out of a SR? SEC play hasn't even started. Do you remember the 2008 season?

We haven't even gotten to the point that we have to win 20+ be a national seed. This loss will have no effect on seeding. All depends how they do in SEC play.

I hope we don't have to play these guys in a regional. Kramer almost had the winning hit in the 10th, if not for a diving catch by the centerfielder. No shame there. But not getting Smith home from 3rd base with only 1 out in the 11th is inexcusable. Manieri pulled the pitchers at the right time for a change and made all the right calls imo. This one is on the players. Can't figure this team out yet.
