Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE— Fourteenth-ranked Texas put up 11 runs on 13 hits to propel the Longhorns past the No. 15 LSU baseball team, 11-1, in the final game of the non-conference series Sunday afternoon at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

LSU falls to 4-3 on the year while Texas improves to 4-3.

It was worse watching in person. Peterson is awful as a starter, we must have had 8 walks today, not to mention texas tore the cover off the ball.

Only 3 seniors and many JC transfers in the starting lineup, it will take more then 2 series. Lost the entire starting rotation, plus Smith and Watson for some time. Chill out

I can understand why you wouldnt be too thrilled with the start of the season. But Paul has won a NC and played for one last year. The guy knows how to win to a degree.

I agree that the pitching sucks. Worse rotation in a long time. Bats are pretty good but pitching has a long way to go.
