Per LSUSports.net: In a game that was twice delayed by rain and lightning, the LSU baseball caught lightning in a bottle and completed a historic evening at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field on Tuesday night.
After enduring a 65-minute rain delay and an in-game lightning delay, the Tigers polished off a 27-0 victory over Northwestern State with a five-pitcher, six-inning no-hitter. The margin of victory was the largest in the program's history dating to 1893.
