Per LSUSports.net: OMAHA, Neb. -- Nothing went the LSU Baseball team's way in the College World Series winners' bracket, as No. 1-seed Oregon State defeated the Tigers, 13-1, Monday night at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha.

LSU will face Florida State on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN. The loser will be eliminated from the College World Series.

Soon as they lose a game, all these dumb so called LSU fans wanna go back to blaming Coach PM. Why can't it be that Oregon State is just a better,hotter team right now??

Because it's not just one game...LSU has sucked balls in the CWS since winning it all in '09. That was 8 f'ing years ago and for the best program in baseball (allegedly) that's not good enough. Furthermore, did you hear Paulie's post game comments? Kinda sounded to me that he was throwing players under the bus IMO...something he's been known to do

And the dismal performances under PM continue. I called it...we'd beat FSU, because they're a fraud IMO, and that we'd lose the next two games...however, I must admit I thought it would be CSF as the second loss

Dude this was clearly on the players, it had nothing to do with PM. Errors after errors and they just couldn't get anything going. Put yourself in the players shoes and think about how you would feel after all of those errors and things not going your way. Thats how you feel, and as a fan it shouldn't be degrading such a great program for something the players KNOW they messed up.

That was a clinic. Our team was ill-focused and ill-prepared. Winning is beyond opussum's and beach balls. Our pitching is suspect at best, our hitting is non-existent and our fielding is less than average. Paranoid Paul needs to hire a couple of assistant coaches or his days are numbered. Can you say Les or Johnny?
