Watch One-Armed High School Basketball Player All-Around Dominate A Recent AAU Event
Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports
Check out one-armed high school basketball star Hansel Emmanuel, who plays for the SOH Elite team from Florida, recently dominate at AAU event in Texas...

Per CBS...
quote:

“If you work hard and believe in your abilities, you can succeed at whatever level you wanna do it. That kid is gonna find his way on to a Division I college basketball program,” says Kellen Buffington. He’s the organizer one of the biggest AAU tournaments the North Texas area has seen in a while, with 189 teams from all over the nation having come to play.

Hansel’s coach is adamant that “If he’s doing that consistently against these types of guys… Why are we even questioning that? The question should be how high is he gonna go… Not if he’s gonna play Division I basketball.”

That is impressive as hell. Fortunate they don't call carrying anymore though because he does it most times he changes directions (i.e., when others would switch hands).

damn impressive and I love it, but why can't the defenders make him go left? Too many defenders nowadays don't know how to shade to one side and force a player to go to their weak side. And obviously even more so in this case.

No body plays defense at AAU events. In fact the opposing coaches will get upset if you have a team that plays defense. These events are about individuality, scoring and showing out. It has nothing to do with basketball fundamentals.
