I've never been a big fan of 1 bench rep though. What's the point? Do the weight you can do at least 6+ times. That's more impressive.

@Double Down if your program is based off percentages as most power lifters are moving to, then you need that one rep max so you can figure out what to base your workout on.

And who doesn't like to see how much you can actually do 1 time?

Yea, not a powerlifter or as Arnold calls 'em, "pregnant men". I prefer to be cut and semi-jacked than fat pregnant looking men with abs over their fat bellies.
