Coyotes, wolves are pack animals and hunt as such. When they go off and attack alone, it could be an indication of rabies. These animals just don't attack larger prey alone.

So he tripped over a rock or something while running and busted up his face, arms, elbows and knees, and then thought how cool would it be to post a video about a coyote and then people won't laugh at me for falling down...

When was the last attack on a human by a wolf or coyote? It’s very rare. You’re more likely to be killed by a golf ball or champagne cork than be bitten by a coyote.
