NCAA Investigating Miami About Gifts?

NCAA investigators were at the University of Miami today looking into clams that convicted Ponzi schemer Nevin Shapiro provided gifts and services to players including the use of his yacht. School officials and players are expected to be interviewed.

"Shapiro's relationship with the program dates back about a decade. Some of the alleged incidents occurred in the past four years, which would be within the NCAA's statute of limitations regarding violations."
