Not the first time that Groenewegen has done something moronic in a bunch sprint. Consequences are magnified at 45mph but that elbow at the end was a little f'cked up.

Definitely a low class and ban worthy move by yellow shirt. Throwing elbows is one thing but forcing into the rail is another. Hopefully the fellow who had 5 hours of facial surgery recovers some feeling in his face along with some recognizable features. I’ve seen a few professional races in person, shite gets pretty cutthroat on hard turns and pack sprints.
