Former 4-star Florida Gators freshman Justin Watkins, who was arrested twice in the last three months, has announced that he is leaving the program to "to better my opportunities."

Watkins was arrested back in May for allegedly kicking a woman's car and breaking her cellphone.

This past Tuesday he was arrested again for kidnapping/false imprisonment charges and domestic battery by strangulation. He also was charged with two first-degree misdemeanor battery counts.

The Citra, FL native was suspended indefinitely by head coach Dan Mullen and announced that he is leaving a program with a Tweet that has since been deleted. Here is what the tweet read:

I will be leaving the university of Florida to better my opportunities.

He would fit in under Saban. Sounds like half the players under him beating women.

Hey, Justin best of luck in your future endeavors! You would blend in well in Chicago.

Had he been at Alabama, Saban would have had the women arrested.

Kid has “frick up” written all over him. No way does he stay out of a jail cell.

Well, he got caught twice in 3 months. What he probably means by "better opportunities" is living in an area where it's less likely he'll be picked up by cops after committing a crime. I think his future is somewhere near Detroit.

His head is way too big for his hair

To better my opportunities? Who says that? Why didn't he just say "I will further advance my skills by bringing my talents to the Univ. of Somewhere else."?

If this happened at Moo State the kid would have a third, fourth, fifth and do on chance. Mullen has more talent at Fla so can this felon

He will fit in at Auburn. This does have that “well you can’t break up with me if I break up with you first” feel. “Better Opportunities” would mean places with less attractive women, like Mizzou. That way he won’t beat, strangle, and kidnap them.
