Alabama DL Isaiah Buggs Challenges UCF To Schedule Them On Twitter
© Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports
Alabama DL Isaiah Buggs is tired of UCF walking around saying they're this year's National Champions. UCF was introduced during halftime of the Pro Bowl on Sunday and with that came a tweet from the program’s official twitter that read...
quote:

“Rain or shine, the champs are in the house.”
Which then Buggs responded...

He's got a point.

They did win their conference, even if they allowed 55 points in the championship game. hehehe

I would love to see this game as much as anybody, but I'm gonna hAve to reluctantly side with Buggs on this one. I don't see UCF lasting 60 minutes against Bama

If UCF beat Bama, Bama would just get rescheduled to play them again that season. They would probably also claim a national championship if they went 1-1 with them in the same season. I've seent it happen.

How many multiple bullshite national championships has Alabama claimed, that they haven't earned? The most glaring example being 1941, when they finished 20th in the nation and still claimed a national championship. Seriously.

I count 12 AP/Coaches Poll titles. Either way still more than all other SEC schools combined.

Jackie, That's exactly my point. Bama has won enough legitimate national titles that there is no need to inflate their record, but they still do.

I applaud UCF for winning their bowl game. They showed up better than the SEC Citrus Bowl participant.

And if Bama wants to be undisputed National Champs they should at least win their conference championship. UCF is only doing the same crap Bama did claiming some of its earlier national championships . . . which is what makes it so damn funny when it pisses someone off.

Or just join a different conference. Make it known you want to join one of the Power 5's. Until then, pipe down, UCF.

This is in response to your reply to my previous in which you showed that your reading comprehension sucks. I said P5's are reluctant to schedule G5's and you listed off a bunch of P5's that 'bama scheduled. I have no doubt that Alabama is the far superior team and that they would beat UCF. My point was that G5's find it difficult to get P5's to play them. You "double downed" on your ignorance with the above post "Make it known you want to join one of the Power 5's." UCF, like just about every G5, is trying their damnedest to get into a P5 already. It's the P5's that have nothing to gain and everything to lose by allowing G5's in.

@johnnydrama - wrong. UCF scheduled Michigan in 2016 and lost 51-14. In 2016, they also lost to Maryland 30-24 in OT. So what were you saying again?

yeah so I read "UFC" at first.

He's got it backwards. UCF would be happy to schedule 'bama. It's the P5's that are reluctant to shedule a strong G5.

Doubtful. Bama has been scheduling a big time P5 opponent in their 1st game the last few years. 2018: Louisville, 2017: FSU, 2016: USC, 2015: Wisconsin, 2014: West Virginia (meh), 2013: Virginia Tech, 2012: Michigan. I'll gladly take UCF over almost every single one of those others I listed.

UCF lost both games in a Home and Home series to Mizzou. Enough said.
