I once saw him move off his guy from one side of the basket, go under the basket, and block a shot on the other side of the basket. He moved like a cat at LSU.

Funny to look back at how skinny he was when he first got there

Reading this thread makes me really miss the good ole days of LSU basketball. It sucks what has become of it.

College basketball is dead. From 1983-1998 or thereabouts it was bigger than college football by a LOT.

He was probably the best all around to play in college period so yea I’d say he tops LSU list.

I was thinking about Petit also.

He was an outstanding pro. I would think Shaq rates above him, but not by much.

Seems like a dumb question.

Shaq is the greatest center in history of basketball. (Debatable)

Was also exciting to watch. We were spoiled here in MBB in the Dale Brown era with supremely talented players, we just couldn’t get the gel right to win the chips that usually come with that kind of talent.

He was the most dominant player in the NBA even when Jordan was still in the league. This is a silly question.

Did you watch them? Even Shaq will admit it.

I was there for their first game together vs Clarence Weatherspoon and Southern Miss plus a whole bunch of others. Shaq said that because A. He’s a humble and classy teammate and B. Because he was 17 and intimidated by CJ and Stanley. The data, both production wise and on tape shows that Shaq was better.
