Yeah, and ironically, LSU could gain more from the USC fiasco (Daddy Kiffen resigning, poor season, horrible defense, inflationgate, etc) than the Auburn mess. The reason of course is that LSU has been in on at least 3 big time players either committed to USC or heavily considering them with alread...
Grades is being stated and my guess is he does have grade issues, but the really early verbals are usually in a precarious position, especially those located in the state of the university they commit to. Just my opinion obviously, but I have always believed part of the offer THAT EARLY is to win a...
Already 2 touted recruits decommitted from USC....funny how making history the bad way can affect a class (first team since Iowa in 1961 who started the season #1 and finishes outside the top 25). Some sites still have Vanderdoes as "Low Interest" for LSU although I would guess if he jumps ship it ...
Chuck Baker committed so early that I didn't see a list of schools that MIGHT have been interested in him. I see the guy as a mid-level program guy (within LA, La Tech might be a good option for example...I wouldn't wish Toolame on anyone!) . I also mentioned he looked pretty physical in his...
Almost a complete 180 on this board now regarding Baker. I questioned his ability because it was obvious and also got hate mail from 99% of the jokes on this board. Hopefully this is a reminder that there needs to be objective criticism over circle jerking.
I'm sure you did...u...
Just because a guy "whiffs" doesn't mean he didn't do his job on a block. IF you force the defender to move out of the path of the runner or within reach of the runner in order not to get blocked, doesn't matter if the blocker misses the player or not...mission accomplished....
I agree with your 3* statement on Baker and I would rate Falkins (Alabama commit but good luck on being able to sign with them) exactly the same. To be very specific, using Rivals scale, I would put them at 5.6, not even a 5.7 (bordering a 4*)...
Seems like the staff moved on, apparently they didnt get the right feeling after he attended every home game this season. A lot of you are getting your hopes up a little too much for the remaining slots IMO
Yeah, I agree. It is usually a good sign to have kids make multiple games ...
He had an official visit a couple of weeks ago. The numbers look a lot better now that Swanson and Baker are gone. IMO, LSU needs another secondary guy in this class, so either Burns or Priest would be the one to get if possible....
Baker should have never been offered but he must have had a really good camp to warrant an early offer Bama will get rid of Falkins next
Yeah, I criticized the Baker offer also after looking at his video. The two most overrated LA kids IMO are Baker and Falkins, some of the servic...
