2015-2016 SEC Games with dates???

I went 2 years ago and asked the same questions here. It was OK at best. I had no problems with cops and I walked around everywhere on campus with drinks. We stayed in Gainesville in a sweet house that we rented off of VRBO. It was walking distance to everything.
The tailgating is weak and spread...

Baseball tavern behind fenway....no where else. Its awesome. They play the fight songs and it will be an all LSU affair. Search LSU fans in Boston on facebook. They had a great crowd for TCU game. Even the bartenders wear LSU gear....

The reason I ask is because i thought once they release those then the tickets on Stubhub and similar sites will go down. Now the cheapest is like $185. I went to the Florida game last year and the price was less than half of that. I hope it goes down , but maybe not....

Wow ....lots of jokes. Thanks for the info. I didnt know so many of you posters were such big fans of drinking and driving. Im coming down with a group that I go on a football trip with every year. I see no other way to make it happen unless there is shuttle service....
Atlanta to Athens Drive???

Going to drive from Atlanta to Athens for the LSU game. Im assuming that its a 330 start. Mapquest says about 90 mins. What am I looking at on game day if I leave Atlanta at 9ish. I may take a limo but just need to know timing....thanks in advance....

Im staying in atlanta and plan on taking a limo to the game as well. We have a group of 8 early 30 somethings. It looks like about 1000 bucks to take a limo which is worth it to me to not have to drive and deal with all of that but the party bus sounds sweet to. We are staying at Marriot in Midtown...

I have a group going from RI. We are staying in Atlanta. Last year we went to Gainesville and rented a house on www.vrbo.com . It was a great deal and location. Before I booked Atlanta hotel I noticed a bunch of condo rentals in Athens. It might be worth a look....

I just read an article that the schedule should be out at the end of the month and that Georgia thinks they will go to either A&M or Bama. Anyone have possible team? Can I assume that it will be home because this year is away? The article also states that they will go in succession and no longer do ...

If rooms in Athens are sold out try vrbo.com. I rented a house in gainesville last year for a good price. I saw some condos in athens available for the weekend. Im staying in Atlanta and driving in for gameday....

I know its early but I need a hotel suggestion. Im going to the LSU @ UGA game and the hotels in Athens are almost all booked up. Im going to stay in Atlanta..I guess midtown has the best selection of walkable bars for 30 somethings. Anyone have any hotels I should look at? Thanks in advance....

Thats what everyone said about Gainesville and that was my trip this year. Gainesville to me was just a college town with no charm or personality. Im hoping Athens is more like Knoxville....
