Glad you like it Iggle!
If you haven't already, definitely check out the iPhone or iPad app. There's some pretty cool navigation stuff, and the universal checkbook is only available on the phone for now.

Hi Iggy,I just heard back and unfortunately we don't currently have support for the TIAA-Direct accounts.
I checked, but don't think it's coming too soon; my best suggestion would be to add it as a manual account so you keep a general sense of your overall financial picture (even if it's not auto-updated).
Apologies I didn't have better results there, if I hear anything new I'll let you know.

Hmm ok. I've raised the question internally, and passed along the info you shared. I'll let you know what I hear.
Is there a way for you to privately message me? If I can get your log in Email I can elevate your account within customer service as well.

Hi Iggy,
I took a look, I think it might be a nomenclature thing, but I'm not sure. Try searching for "TIAA" and then choosing the TIAA-CREF option from the search results.
I believe that works, might just be a search logic issue. Let me know how it goes.
Thanks! I actually saw some traffic from here in our Google Analytics, noticed the conversation and just wanted to help out if I could.

Definitely understand the concern there. Security pretty much has the highest priority for us, precisely because of it's importance to anyone who would consider our products. I can tell you we use the latest and greatest in the world of encryption, and our CTO actually created the system used by most banks these days.
Obviously you need to do your own research to feel at ease; please check out "our team" on the site if you're curious, and here's a link to the safety/security section of our site. Let me know if you have any specific questions and I can try to help!

In the app, basically you click on the account you want to send the check from. For initial set up you need to take a picture of a voided check; from there it should be pretty self explanatory.
No actual signature needed here; once it's set up it's good to go. Let me know if that makes sense; if you run into major issues I can also have your account flagged for follow up from our customer service team.

Honestly not sure. Apart from banks I haven't seen it, but I suppose it's possible.

Hey everyone! Yep, iPhone app is out, along with our latest feature the Universal Checkbook.
HiddenFlask, actually in this case we're sending physical checks; technology meets old school!
Hope you guys like the app, please share if you have any feedback! And if you think we deserve it please give us a good rating in the app store; helps a lot in getting the name out :)

Hey Geismar, for today we're still iPad only, but definitely check back tomorrow for new developments!
Thanks for the kind words everyone!
I can't give any details yet, but there's some pretty awesome new features coming out next Tuesday (5/8) so keep an eye out. I'm (selfishly) looking forward to using it myself so definitely take a look and let me know what you think.

Thanks Teddy. I took a look and definitely think you're both right; can be pretty cumbersome filtering through all those options in such a small space (having the product team address it; I'd guess 30 days or so).
Is there a private message system on tiger droppings? If you're comfortable sending me the email you registered with (either posting or private messaging), I can elevate with customer support and have them reach out. I could try to guess what's going on there, but they'll have much more insight.
Also a sidenote (and mini PSA)for everyone, we have a referral program going on right now; if you use the widget from the dashboard (upper right) to refer a friend and they aggregate their accounts, you get 10 bucks and so do they. I'd post a link but I know most forums don't really like that; just let me know if you have trouble finding it from the dashboard. No pressure obviously, but if you're planning on sharing with a friend, might as well make a few bucks while doing it!
I'm not getting emails when you guys respond, but I'll do my best to keep up/help out if you post any other questions or feedback.

Haha yes indeed, I saw the conversation and just wanted to help if I could.
I've passed along the info on the drop down boxes; they're going to try and get it into our next update (I'd guess 30 days or so unless we hit some speed-bumps). Just so I'm clear, are you using the web interface or the iPad?
I mentioned the rewards points, it's actually something we could incorporate but honestly you're the first person to mention it. I put it on the list, but without the demand it probably won't make it in for a while.
Thanks for the kind words on the interface! To your point we don't really have budgeting tools; investing is really our focus so we're spending as much energy as possible to make that as relevant and useful as possible.
As a company we actually do offer financial advice; not sure we quite fit into the full on "online financial advisor" market with FutureAdvisor or Wealthfront though. Our advisory services are completely optional, but for those who opt in we don't try to replace the human relationship; rather we leverage technology to make the relationship as effortless for consumers as possible (think Facetime meetings with your advisor, access to performance/results anytime through the dashboard etc.).
Hopefully that helps, happy to clarify as needed.

Hey everyone, I work over at Personal Capital. Happy to answer any questions/pass along any feedback you'd like to share. If there's anything you'd want to see included I can pass the information to the Product Manager.
Thanks!
