re: Sometimes You Just Need To Change...(Thoughts on Miles) - westcoastcajun on 12/3/14 at 1:50 pm
Sometimes You Just Need To Change...
This is a such a passive mentality. If you are going to make a change, have a plan and execute. If Alleva and co. has a Miles replacement in mind, someone that has Tiger roots, then make the change. History is littered with NFL and College ...

re: Do you live vicariously through LSU football? - westcoastcajun on 11/11/13 at 2:56 pm
I grew up in BR going to LSU games with my family in the late 70s and early 80s. During that time, the experience of winning was the farthest thing from our mind. Going to see LSU play on a Saturday night with my family, tailgating, yelling for the Tigers and just enjoying the whole event was some...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: JFF on the Cover of Time-"It's time to pay college athletes" - westcoastcajun on 9/5/13 at 12:19 pm
7 pages into the thread and the only posters that support "paying" college athletes are TA&M posters. If you don't think a full scholly, room, board and all of the benefits and extras that come with being a athlete is enough "pay" for a college athlete, you must not think very highly of y...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Raise your hand if you will be okay without Johnny - westcoastcajun on 8/6/13 at 7:03 pm
Industries would lose millions of dollars if he doesn't play a full year.
No they won't. College Football was a well-oiled money machine before JF and it will be long after he is gone. JF is just the best story this year and that is why we want him to play. However, don't be d...

A 5 year old actor can't touch their money until they are 18. Wouldn't be a bad idea if the money that CF players earned was escrowed until they were out of school....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Favorite Memory in the Old Alex Box Stadium - westcoastcajun on 1/30/13 at 8:37 am
I started going with my Dad in 1982. There would be 100 people for the Saturday double headers and 130 for the Sunday 9 inning game. The best weekend was in 1985 when Ron Polk brought his stacked Bulldogs team to the Box. I had never seen a school travelled so many fans to see a baseball game. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: New Alex Box or Old Alex Box - westcoastcajun on 6/12/12 at 1:32 pm
The Old Alex Box was magic because that is where it started. I remember the weekend series when Ron Polk brought MSU into Alex box during Bertman's first year, and we took 2 out of 3. There were LSU 30-ish fans at Satursdays game, and the stands were packed with Bulldogs. My dad took us to the Sa...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: It's January 31, 2012 and Nick Saban is still at Alabama....Year 6. - westcoastcajun on 1/31/12 at 2:02 pm
+1 There are other NFL jobs he would take, but it would have to be for a top tier team run by an owner with a reputation like Kraft. When he was with the Dolphins, NS was one QB pick away from being a top tier NFL coach. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
