re: Those who flooded last year: Have you done the Louisiana Restore Survey? - Geecubed
I completed it the first day one could complete it. We are back in the house. At first I didn't qualify because I have Dwelling Flood Insurance, but I received an email the other day stating that now, due to JBE pushing for insured households to be added to the mix, that I fall under Phase IV. ...

re: Hurricane Harvey - Rescues / Resources / Volunteer Information - Geecubed
Tiger91 and WIR, my wife and I want to try and help families individually (kinda match families we know to families in need in the TX Gulf Coast Area), but we have limited resources and we don't know how many families are going to help with this on our end. I know TxWadingFool and his family lost...

re: Solve this math problem - Geecubed
Not dumb in the least. With the space OP added, I took that as being three divided by one third, which is much different than 3 divided by 1 divided by three. One would figure each equation MUCH differently....

re: Solve this math problem - Geecubed
LNCHBOX
3 divided by 1/3 is not 1. 3 multiplied by 1/3 is 1. 3 divided by 1/3 is 9. DO you even math baw? And, I added the parentheses, to focus where the focus was needed. PEMDAS says that you take the division first, so the 3 divided by 1/3 is answered first. Yet, you h...

re: Harvey ***Catastrophic Flooding Event*** - Geecubed
Guys and gals, does anyone have any connections to gather donations to bring to the CC/STX area? If so, I am in BR, and may have some clothes and stuff. TxWadingFool, prayers sent. Dealt with the flood last year, and had to rely on strangers to get us through it. Let us know what you need....

re: Harvey ***Catastrophic Flooding Event*** - Geecubed
rds dc
I watched Levi Cowan's video from yesterday, this morning, and he mentioned a MASSIVE High that is roughly due north of Harvey, and that they were forecasting that the High would follow Harvey west (or something like that). Is that not what you guys are seeing?...

re: The following state universities should be closed immediately: - Geecubed
I graduated from the College of Business at SELU, and it is a great college. I have had friends that have graduated from the Nursing School, and they enjoyed it and were able to get really nice jobs. My wife graduated with a BS from UNO, and an MHS from LSUHSC, and is ABD from UNO in a PhD progr...

re: The following state universities should be closed immediately: - Geecubed
Probably not, but I think that is the best option for both the state and students. Especially if somehow SELU can keep the same approach as they currently have. Quality education for a lower price....

re: The following state universities should be closed immediately: - Geecubed
There are only two public universities in NO, and UNO is one. The rest of the university sucks. My solution is to move the engineering program to SELU, along with possibly the social sciences college, and shut the rest down....
