I get it too, but I agree that they should charge a flat fee to locate the vehicle and get a subscription. If I'm not mistaken, all Onstar vehicles are equipped with a GPS locator. It's just a matter if they choose to help or not. ...

He has Allstate. He's just wondering if he can use Onstar to track his vehicle even if he doesn't have an active subscription. I think they can track it, but will they???...
