re: You have 25-30k budget for a new truck - LSUsvt01
I just bought a brand new 2014 F150 XLT with Leather and HIDs (2wd however) for $29k (MSRP was 45k). I'm sure you could find a dealer really wanting to offload their remaining inventory and get an even better deal. Look at the dealerships in Houston......

re: Anyone have much experience adopting a dog? - LSUsvt01
Adopt a greyhound! They are awesome, come basically trained (mine has never used the bathroom in the house) and are very loving. They are low key, lazy, and easy to take care of for the most part plus it's freaking awesome to watch them run. [link=(http://www.itsagreyarea.com)]Greyhound Adoption ...

re: So I need a new dog - LSUsvt01
Sorry about your pup! Research Greyhounds and see if they meet the criteria you're looking for. They're awesome dogs that are lazy, affectionate, loyal, inside dogs that are fairly easy to take care of, but you have to have a fenced in yard for sure. Plus they're already somewhat pre-trained when...

re: looking for a good dog breed - LSUsvt01
Really lazy dogs, content with lounging around inside most of the day. Take em out to run once a day and they're generally content. You can rescue one too (former racers that are going to be put down) if that's the sort of thing you're into...
Exactly...even a short walk is plenty ...

Adopt a greyhound. You probably won't believe it, but a greyhound meets all of your criteria (even the small place). They really are awesome dogs ...
