Seems to me it took an LSU coach to make Alabama a good team......

Losing to a pair of Amish brothers in beer pong?? It took me a minute to get off the floor from that one. I work with all Aggies, and it's posted on my door!...
Really interesting thread. I think you have to look at things as the were before the game was played. IMO, 'bama had no right to that game, and OSU should have been in there. I don't care what the pundits think - you should win your conference to have a right to the NC game. Look, 'bama fans s...
I say let her try. If she makes it legitimately, then let her play - as long as a more deserving spot isn't given up for it. She has to know the risks. The only thing I'm worried about is a player from another team that tries to hurt her. Think about it - what if Coach Miles doesn't let her try ...
LSU's program is already legitimized, IMHO. I have to say that this is absolutely the most important game LSU has ever had. It's not just important for LSU, but think of how it legitimizes the SEC as the best conference, bar none. Look, 'bama has nothing to lose and everything to gain - LSU b...

re: Question For My LSU Brethren

There is sort of a precedent for this. In 2003, under Saban, LSU beat #7 Georgia during the regular season, then again a #5 Georgia team for the SEC championship. Funny, how it's Saban again...just on the losing end......
One key difference - commitment... "There was some misinformation on ESPN and I think it's imperative that I straighten it out. I am the head coach at LSU. I will be the head coach at LSU. I have no interest in talking to anybody else. I've got a championship game to play, and I am excited about ...

This article doesn't mention the schedules...LSU has played much tougher competition, including 2 of the best offenses in the country. I'd say he's full of it....
All of the above. LSU seems to do best in the 4th quarter, so IMO it's a smash mouth offense that picks up the first downs, backed by a great defense that keeps them in every game. Coupled with good special teams play and strong conditioning, it's a good recipe.......

As long as LSU and Bama are undefeated, then 11/05 will be the best game of the season. As per who would win today, I'd have to pick LSU in a close, low scoring game - say, 13-7 with Wing's punting being the difference.......

re: Why are we getting hammered about...

What were the 4th quarter passing numbers? We didn't really start blitzing until then, and it seemed to stop them cold.......
IMHO, it's a gamble to schedule tough OOC games - especially early; in the unlikely event that Oregon goes on to have a poor season, than it sort of cheapens the win. But it's a gamble worth taking... Saturday night was a great time to be an LSU fan!! Edit: Just saw the 2 prior posts - I agr...

re: How was the crowd% LSU vs Aggies

Posted by WebFeet on 1/10/11 at 9:17 am
Probably 60/40 aggies - I have a recording of the LSU crowd noise leading up to the fight song - we were louder! I'll try to post it, but it's pretty big.......

re: An Aggie's take on LSU fans:

Just looked at these ridiculous rants from the AgTex site. I'm in DFW and work with all Aggies - they are a class act here in my office, and we've had some good natured ribbing, nothing more. Everyone (including this old LSU fan) here wants to settle it on the field. So I buy into the thought tha...
As crappy as this whole thing is, how's his backup? Here in the DFW area, I'm not getting any news and I gotta deal with all these Aggies here......
