yes, fish and houseguests 3 days ok. After that both are rotten.
I actually think you could push it much longer. Think about how long those longliner boats are out and they come back with everything on ice, and then it gets shipped around for another couple of days.

Everything same pattern is faux pas. That's how you tell how long someone has been hunting. The more different patterns, the more seasoned hunter. ie, don't sit next to the guy in the blind who has all matching camo.

seal off canals with dirt/rock/whatever. Eliminate the ebb and flow of tide and the movement of fish/crabs/shrimp/etc into these areas. Like i said earlier, you cant have it both ways....

water subject to the ebb and flow of tide is fair game. Block the tidal influence off if you want private. You can't have it both ways....
