re: Anybody ever had home warranty with heater problems - creolechef on 11/27/16 at 5:45 pm
Had replaced last year with ahs. Old system had rusted heat chamber. They paid to replace and install new furnace. I had to pay for additional items to bring up to code since old until was about 20 years old. About $1000 out of pocket. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

If they have a press conference scheduled then have someone's signature already on a contract. No matter if O or Herman we'll know before noon I think. ...

OT mechanics - creolechef on 4/20/16 at 4:30 pm
Mother-in-law has 2007 Expedition limited with the 5.4. Died in the road yesterday and towed to dealer. They are telling her today the fuel pump is bad and will cost $1100 to replace. Does this seem high? I would have thought maybe $600-700 range....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (5)
re: Home Warrrany thoughts? - creolechef on 4/5/16 at 3:38 pm
I have one through AHS. Used a couple times for minor AC repairs. Biggest uses have been replacing a water heater. I paid about $300 out of pocket to cover some upgrades that had to be done to bring up to current code. Then had the upstairs blower/furnace go out. They replaced the unit and paid for ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

re: Have you shipped live crawfish? - creolechef on 1/13/16 at 10:31 am
Done it twice with LA Crawfish. 1st time worked out great and not much dead loss. 2nd time FedEx screwed it up and they got "lost" somewhere at their Memphis airport facility. LA Crawfish tracked it and refunded me every penny. They were great to work with and would order again. ...

If Payton out who is realistic replacement? - creolechef on 1/3/16 at 1:06 pm
There are very few elite coaches just like there are very few elite quarterbacks. We have both right now. If Payton wasn't elite there wouldn't be so many teams pursuing him. If we let Payton walk we go back to the pre 2006 Saints overnight and no one is going to come in and do better. ...

SEC is all secretly scared of what LSU could become with a great coach. No secret we have the talent and recruiting base already in place. It's like handing a new coach the keys to a Ferrari. ...

re: Air condition help *update* - creolechef on 9/23/15 at 2:14 pm
Well the home warranty people should cover it hopefully. Guy said they shouldn't have any reason not to. I was just curious if the guy was feeding me stuff just to replace the whole thing and make more money. He said he had no choice as it was a safety reason. Wasn't allowed to repair it. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Air condition help *update* - creolechef on 9/23/15 at 2:00 pm

Also said furnace burn chamber is all rusted out, which I can see it is. said has to replace furnace for safety reasons and that should fix problem. Does this sound right? Not even using the furnace...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
