I went earlier today. I've never seen as many sheriff's deputies and police there and in the general area as there were today. Probably the safest place in BR. Everyone was very friendly. I thanked the police on the way out and told them to hang in there. ...

Bought DCS NG grill with ceramic rods for heat retention/distribution. Hot hot hot. Best NY strips I've ever cooked. Seared and charred on outside and medium rare on inside. Won't ever go back to propane. Also bought NG burner (bayou boiler.com). Claims to boil crawfish pot in 15 minutes. We'll see...

Very disappointed in the food. Worst fajita beef I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. The rest of the meals my family had were mediocre at best. Good salsa. If you want to try it, hurry up. Won't last long. Bring back Portobello's. ...
