re: Harris starting doing well, starting at UNC - BayouChamp on 8/13/17 at 12:07 am
So my question is: Why did coach O decide that Harris wouldn't work in the offense? Wasn't Canada already here? If this offense was perfect for Harris with a QB Guru, why did he leave? Has the situation become that toxic? Open spring competition up. See who wins. If Harris is beat out, he tr...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Patrick Surtain Jr visiting Bama today, LSU tomorrow - BayouChamp on 7/22/17 at 3:35 pm
Guess it's going well. Gotta pic out there somewhere with him Alabama game ready standing next to a smiling Saban. Can't imagine that it wouldn't go well. Saban knows what he's doing. Good thing is, his dad made a decent living so a Dodge Charger won't influence his decision. ...

re: Wille Gay update - BayouChamp on 1/30/17 at 1:45 am
It does suck but I commend the young man to go to his state school. I don't know if State will ever get to be Top Dawg in the SEC but he is certainly a difference maker. I few more players like him and who knows what state could be. Not to mention the tremendous economic windfall for the school and ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

re: Les Miles -in the arena! - BayouChamp on 1/9/14 at 9:39 am
Disagree. Dinardo built the foundation by making it okay to come to LSU. He just could not get out of his own way. When Mighty Mouse left, our OLine recruiting was in shambles. People keep defending Saban by degrading the job that was done by Dinardo. I think the ONLY thing holding LSU back from...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: Quille announcment time? - BayouChamp on 12/18/13 at 8:37 am
I agree. I just hope it doesn't come back to bite us. A big NFL ready wideout vs. an unknown. I'm not sure why we backed off after putting effort into him after he originally committed to the Barn. I definitely hope he is not the reason we come up short next year. Give me a guy with that talent that...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Concerning the rumors that LSU backed off of Williams to help with Speedy - BayouChamp on 12/17/13 at 2:38 pm
I concur. I just think it's a mistake if Quille is good as most say he is. You don't let program changers leave without a fight. But, who knows what goes on behind the scenes. I just hope it doesn't come back to haunt us. You get as many as you can and let those players sort it out. It doesn't matte...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Bama commit comments on Fournette's visit - BayouChamp on 12/15/13 at 7:02 pm
I don't venture to 247 nor do I plan to so I have no idea what's there. I simply added my $.02 to Tigger's post. They can certainly attempt to ban me but they'll quickly find out that I haven't been there nor have any interest in going there. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

re: D'haquille Williams Commits to Auburn - BayouChamp on 7/22/13 at 5:57 pm
I'd always hoped he would stick with his LSU commitment, but anytime Dameyune Craig is involved, you always have to raise an eyebrow. Let's not forget. Before he originally committed to LSU, his coach was rambling on about how LSU had not contacted him, etc. Then boom! There goes the LSU commitme...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: '14 WR; Big Board Discussion - D'haquille Willams update? (PG. 9) - BayouChamp on 6/14/13 at 9:05 am
I don't post much. I just lurk and read for comic relief. I don't think it's about being prima donnas. These kids see what's happening. It's a business. The days are long gone of having kids playing big time college football just for the education and love. They see the contracts. They hear the stor...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

I dont post often bit this is ridiculous! I honestly think this thread is starting to trend in the wrong direction. I understand both positions. re: Updated: ESPN reports TM7 wants to stay; nola.com says not so fast - BayouChamp on 8/13/12 at 10:13 am
I may be in the minority on this, but I thought about this yesterday as a possibility. It would be all about redemption. I think in terms of the NFL and public perception, he would have made a mistake, paid a price, and grown from it. Even though he wont be on the team, he could still be around th...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
