I'm confused what you are laughing at. I bought a house in last year in this neighborhood that appraised for 75k above what we paid for it. Pretty good deal. Lots of remodeling, tear down and new construction all around us too. Just curious what other people are seeing in the marketplace....

It seems to me that the south downs area is out of the question at this point for finding deals on older houses and updating them/remodeling and selling for a profit or renting them out and expecting much more appreciation. Do any BR area people have any ideas on what the best neighborhoods would be...

I got a chance to get a lease on a few hundred acres for turkey hunting in Washington Parish for 2020. I'm not from around here and I live in BR so can someone tell me what the scouting report is for that area? Lots of birds?...

Where did 2.5% of all priests during that time period stat come from? That means there was 2,280 Catholic Priests in the NOLA archdiocese.. Seems like a lot, but may be right. I know the Spotlight investigation found it was more like 7%. ...

I'm locked in at 4.875% closing first of November. First bank I talked to quoted me at 5%. I thought I was gonna get 4.5% somewhere, but it's just not out there anymore....

A farm is owned by multiple people (more than 6). It is a joint venture. 55% of the ownership interests want to sell. 45% of ownership doesn't want to sell. The ownership is in undivided shares. I've got two of the covert wireless ATT cameras and they are awesome. I'm probably about to buy a third one. The pictures upload straight to the covert app on your phone so you can check them when its convenient. Beats the hell out of getting the pics via text message....
