The GM trucks have an independent front suspension, Ford and Ram still put a solid front axle in their HD trucks.
With less moving parts, the solid front axles are naturally more robust, but are also harder and less safe to drive on the highway (death wobble).

Big Ten absolutely blew the SEC out of the water with the TV deal, but who wins expansion remains to be seen.
SEC will still have the better programs and way more of them....
