Rumor had it that LSU was going to hire a Defensive Coordinator who was playing in the playoffs. That pointed to Ron Zook (ST CO) and Dick LeBeau after he resigned. That is the best thing about getting a new DC is Chavis has never been known for pass rush from his ends. Not at Tennessee not ever....

With chavis's defense (Unusual for a 4-3) his ends play super conservative and has to blitz to get pressure. The ends aren't getting sacks and that is a shame to me...

I believe LaCatoure and Valentine will be "Co-starters" and Valentine eventually moving into the starting spot by the end of the season. Valentine is a great defensive tackle. I know bower and teuhema are great pass rushers. I believe we are good at Weak-side but strong-side worries me. Issiah Washi...
Not to mention his measurable a are great 6'2.5 runs a 4.49...
