I'm pretty sure I heard the announcers say he injured his shin when they showed him walking to the locker room....

re: AT&T Fiber question

Contractors ran the inner duct, the orange conduit, in my neighborhood between about April 10th and about April 25th. I got a text and an email earlier today stating it was available. I have an install scheduled for Monday. Going from 75Mbps on copper to 500Mbps on fiber and bill is staying exactly ...
I used Wholesale Siding in Jefferson this past September. I had 8 single-pane aluminum frame windows replaced as well as my front door converted from a plain door to a single door with side lights (original construction had panels between the door and brick) and replaced a sliding patio door with an...
I bought the Massca M-1 2 years ago. I love the construction of it and it has worked perfectly for the projects I have used it on....

re: Battling Oxalis Weeds

Posted by BottleGnome on 10/1/21 at 6:36 pm
I just sprayed my front and backyards last week. I had oxalis everywhere. I used Weed Free Zone and Atrazine. Within 2 days most of it was shriveled and dead. I also did a second application about 3-4 days later since it appeared that I must have missed some areas because they were still green. I us...

re: Bug ID needed

Thanks for the ID. I thought that maybe that's what it could be after some googling, just wanted to make sure. Looks like I'll have to spray them as they are a threat to my tomato plants....

Bug ID needed

Was picking weeds earlier and stumbled across these guys, not sure what they are. Anyone have any ideas? [link=(https://imgur.com/a/tQFQooW)]Bugs in yard[/link]...
I got a Badaptor off of Amazon. I can use my Makita batteries on my Ryobi tools, really nice to not have to have 2 different types of batteries and chargers sitting around....

re: Filling holes around foundation

Slight highjack. Anyone know how many inches of slab are typically exposed around a house? The land around my house has sunk a good bit over the years and the previous owner never addressed it. I am planning on adding a good bit of fill, I'm just not sure how much slab should be exposed from the top...

I agree. This team walks enough batters at bad times as it is. He wouldn't really help much unfortunately....

I just received my pre-order the other day. I haven't installed it yet because for now my Nest is working. When the pre-orders started I was on my 3rd Nest as it seemed like they were all having a battery issue which causes the wifi not to work at all. Of course since I pre-ordered the Wyze one my N...
We got ours in May of '19 and love it. We have not had any issues with it all. All of the space has come in handy with 2 little ones and their things. I use my 3rd row a decent amount but most of the time it's folded down so we can have a stroller and other things laying down back there. Haven't had...
AT&T performed an orbital slot consolidation in 2019 if I remember right. Local and Spanish language programming moved down to 99, 101, or 103. For the last year or so techs have only been able to install Slimline 3 or Reverse band Slimeline 3 lnb's. How sure are you of your dish alignment, have you...

re: Thermostat help

The unit does have a usb port on the back but I think it may be for only charging the battery. When disconnected from the base and plugged into a usb charger you cannot use the thermostat, no functions work and it displays a message that says to connect it to the base to use....

I do have a C wire connected. When we installed the thermostat we ran a brand new line to the board so that we would have a C wire. If I remember correctly the original line only had 4 wires. It's weird that this happening because the original thermostat worked fine for over a year and now all of th...

re: Thermostat help

Currently all power readings on the thermostat are within the recommended ranges provided by Nest. I'll have to check the wires on the unit itself to make sure all of the connections are good. If that's all good then it would seem like the board on the ac unit could be the source of the problem. I'm...

Thermostat help

Posted by BottleGnome on 10/11/20 at 12:44 pm
I have gone through 3 (about to be 4) different Nest thermostats over the last 4 months. All 4 started having issues with the wifi not working which basically turns it into a regular thermostat. It appears that the wifi chip in the thermostat gets zapped as the unit is no longer able to recognize an...
