I won't be able to contract it out myself. I work too many hours to stay on top of subs. I figured $100/sqft would be a stretch. Any suggestions on a builder? I have a few in mind and have seen some of their work. There are so many to choose from ...

Building a custom home in BR

Is this a good time to build a custom home in BR? With interest rates being low but the price of lumber going up, I can't decide if I should buy a smaller home and sell it in 5 years or go ahead and start building. I have a .5 acre lot that's already paid off. I'm looking to spend around $100/sqft(i...

Anyone have any suggestions of where to get a land/lot loan? I just signed an agreement for a lot located in a subdivision in Baton Rouge. I've filled out an application at People's Bank but just looking for other options. Thanks!...
