Coach Miles is referring to the Advocate article saying Shephard was a bust as a recruit and did not live up to his accolades. That was a horrible article about a young player .

Nothing more to be said, he loves his job, he loves his players, and he loves LSU. Tigers are lucky to have such a man as coach, leader and role model for the young men playing under him. If you are an Lsu recruit you can be sure Les will treat you fairly and never throw you under the bus or ask more of you than he would ask of himself.

Was there a question about a player or players that led to that?

Probably the most entertaining coach to watch (eats grass etc) and a stand up guy to boot!
