Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and current ESPN analyst Ron Jaworski told 97.5 The Fan in Philly that he wouldn’t be happy about Alabama head coach Nick Saban returning to the NFL.

“I’m not a Saban guy, because I don’t like liars, and I think he lied,” said Jaworski, via “I think he lied to the Miami Dolphins, and to the fans of Miami, and he left. And it’s pretty simple, I think integrity is very important, if you don’t have integrity, I don’t know how you can be successful. Yeah, I know he’s great at Alabama, and he’ll probably win another national championship, but I just don’t like people that don’t have integrity, so it’s pretty easy for me to say I don’t want Nick Saban in town.”

I don't give a flip whether he's a liar or not. I just want him gone. I want the Gumps to go back to the days of DuBose,Franchione, and Shula. We'd have three more 5-Star recruits per year with Saban gone.

Last I checked lying is wrong 100 percent of the time for any reason or at least the way I was raised.

"A harmless lie to protect yourself and others around you is not immoral" I could not disagree more. Blatant dishonesty is dishonesty regardless of the reason. It speaks to someones morals, which is a snapshot of their character. Individuals decisions descend from character.

Auburn's Gene Chizik got fired. After the Iron Bowl he did not lie about his job status he simply said I wont discuss it. That is how you handle that.

Saban is a snake I would love for him to come recruit my kid I would say your a documented liar how can I believe you.

oh and your a jerk ask Will Muschamps's parents. Go google that story.

Amazing how fast mad Bammers jump on someone who doesn't share their coach worship!

JAWS did mention Petrino as well...For me I am gald he is gone from LSU for longtime...He will screw over BAMA as well...But for Bama fans it will be

Saban told his players and LSU not to worry, he wasnt going anywhere. Then he jumped ship and LSU had to hurry to find another coach. It put LSU in turmoil and we could have lost our recruits and hurt the program in a major way. luckily we got Miles quickly and he was able to retain most of our recruits. I dont have a problem with Saban leaving LSU, just how he left!!

Sabins an a-hole. Like him or not he's a winner. But he is still an a-hole and a liar. I put stock in the character of a man and from my personal dealings with Les Miles I'll take him over the blowed dry king any day.

There is a reason why good guys finish last. They don't know when to lie.

When a news reporter asks you a question that could harm you or people close to you, what are you to do. A harmless lie to protect yourself or others around you is not immoral.

Not alerting the public that you are in private discussions that could lead you away from your present employer is not wrong. Saban did not harm LSU or Miami.

The owner of the Dolphins asked Saban to break his contract with LSU. Why is breaking his contract with the Dolphins wrong when leaving LSU was ok?

Furthermore, LSU breaks its contract with coaches on a regular basis, which is normal business in the coaching profession.

I like Jaworski, but he is simply wrong on this one.

No liars in the NFL. I It is an exclusive club. Drug dealers, killers and wif beaters only need apply.

This isn't news. We know Saban's a douche-bag.

If Saban loses to ND he's definitely bolting for the NFL!

What?! Someone in the media doesn't like Nick Saban? GTFO!

Little Nicki would'nt know the truth if it bit him.He lied to LSU while he was getting on the plane for Miami

You tell 'em Jaws! We don't need no stinkin' liars in the NFL! I never liked little nicki either.

Saban gone

Somewhere Saban is chuckling softly while he checks his bank account.

Legendary coaches don't become legendary by "being a nice guy".

Jaws is an idiot. That means every coach who has ever left a job for another has no integrity, because they all say they are never going anywhere

And he is correct.
