Following Nebraska’s 45–31 loss to Georgia in the Capital One Bowl on New Year’s Day, Cornhusker QB Taylor Martinez stuck with his pregame assessment that the Bulldogs were “just another typical Big Ten defense” and then some. Martinez said in a story for the Lincoln Journal Star...
quote:

“I think the Big Ten, talent-wise, is a lot better, and the defenses in the Big Ten are better than SEC defenses,” “This was supposed to be one of the top defenses in the SEC, and we pretty much did anything we wanted against them.”

Big Ten defenses or just like SEC defenses. The only difference is our defenses allow more points to be scored than the SEC defenses. Thats the only difference. "Taylor Martinez"

Be nice, now. The guy's in a coma and can't be held responsible for what he says. On the other hand, maybe he wasn't at the game. Or maybe he can't do much readin', writin' or 'writhmatik. It does get complicated.

We don't normally do whatever we want to a defense, but when we do...

Martinez can go back to where he belongs- in the cornfields.

Wisconsin scoring 70 pts. on your sorry-ass defense is the definition of "pretty much doing anything they wanted".
